Non Vodafone customers can download the app however data charges will apply as per your plan rate. When accessing the app overseas, international roaming charges will apply. When on Wi-Fi, My Vodafone may not continuously update if you’ve logged out of the app.

The app is mainly fine, updates are too frequent

The app works well to give me the information that I need, i.e. my daily data use which I like to keep track of. Also provides other useful info like monthly charges and remaining contract term etc

My major issue is the number of times that the apps asks me to update. It must be at least 3 times a month which is way too frequent. And if you dont update you will not be able to access it so you have to update by force. I cannot understand why they need that many updates when nothing really changes ????

👎🏻 to complainers 👍 to Vodafone

I have been with Vodafone for near on 10 years I’d say. First with a contract plan and these days pre-paid. I have never had any major problems with Vodafone, never had anything but staff go out of their way to help me if I had to phone Vodafone for any reason. And I must say that there value for recharge is better in my opinion than others like say Telstras. I’ve never had coverage problems and at times it’s been better than my mates who are with Optus.

The ridiculous complaints about changing mobile companies over the colour of the apps logo is pathetic to say the least and quite childish, considering many apps change the look of their logo from time to time.. do you complain about those also before deleting the app?!.. if so, you need to get a hobby! If not, then why now?!

Vodafone or any company doesn’t need such time wasting non-productive feedback, so probably best you go elsewhere. To everyone else, I recommend Vodafone for value, great customer service and their very easy to use, accessible app to date. 😃

Too much security

It obviously does the job right. You can access it and do all the right stuff on it but the security is so annoying. Every time i open it up i need to sign in with a password I don’t remember ever and when you need to try again it deletes everything that you typed so you have to keep retyping which is a big nuisance. To look at your history there is a pin number you have to put in but i had no idea what it is. As far as I’m concerned there was no pin. After trying possible pins about 5 different ones it locked and told me to try again in two hours! I don’t see the point in having a pin when you just had to put a capital lettered and numbered 8 digit password. I don’t care about the security being big, I just want an app that lets me do things without always being skeptical. I have to give credit where credit’s due though, apparently they have a touch id now to sign in but that pin number thing is still so annoying and I can’t reset it online I’m going to have to call the place which I’m guessing is going to be like every call centre. Also stop updating it so much and you got yourself some convenience.
