Good but missing features!!
Generally good app, and understand HomeKit is difficult to implement but please please please just add a home screen widget in iOS (see Lifx for example) and Siri shortcuts integration which effectively gives most the benefits of HomeKit despite not being compatible.
The app is quite difficult to navigate. It is confusing how the automation works and setting it to work on a schedule. It will rarely work as it should. There should be more control over “privacy mode”. I would like the camera to be on but control if I get notifications or not. If this is already a feature, it is not simple to set up. The camera / app also picks up sudden changes in light from dark to bright as a movement in the house, even though it may just be a car reflecting light as it drives by. That is the most annoying feature.
It can integrate into google home, however it will not connect to wifi names that have emojis in them. I contacted d-link months ago about this issue and they have done nothing to resolve this. This software needs to be updated to current times and improve overall layout.

Confusing in the extreme
Pretty much the same feedback loads of people gave; there are loads of settings and shortcuts but at no point do they explain what they do and how they work. As an example it asks you to select a “One-Tap shortcut”. Away, home, bedtime, wake up, etc. Touching them turns them on but there is not explanation as to what you’re turning on and what will happen. There are no links to simple videos, etc. I’ll be returning the camera for a refund. Similar situation with automations where you can click them but nothing to explain what they are and the impact they have. I’d suggest looking for other brands with a clean, simple interface. Please do not reply with the standard templates response asking us for more information. The info is here. Look at hundreds of other reviews saying the exact same thing, then fix it.
