Great product, app not bad either

From my research, Zappi is the most advanced, most flexible home charger out there. While not perfect, it ticks most boxes people would want in a home charger.

Another review complains about not being able to schedule charging, but it’s right there - Scheduled Boost setting, which lets you schedule charging to specific times. What this setting doesn’t allow is to specify the charging rate - it’ll charge at full capacity - but that’s not a big deal, since if you only want a partial charge, just schedule a smaller time slot.

One thing that I wish the Zappi had was the ability to specify a charge rate for any of the Boost charge modes. For example, it would be nice to limit the charging of your car to, say, 3kw on a cloudy day where solar rates can range from 0 to max throughout the day. If you use Eco++ mode it’ll charge and stop charging throughout the day. If you use Eco+ mode it’ll have a minimum charge of 1.6kw throughout the day. A little more flexibility here would be nice.

Another limitation is the manual boost which allows you to add 5, 10, 20, 40, 60, 80, or 99kWh in a session, which seem like arbitrary steps, especially above 20 kWh. Just having 5kWh steps here would make more sense.

Overall it’s a very good charger, but the a really good app, that could be better in places, but from what I can tell is best of breed.

Zappi and Myenergi - perfect

When you’re paying $0 to power your car Myenergi is the definition of awesomeness!

No timer - no energy suppliers

Surely it can’t be right that the zappi or the myenergi app has no ability to schedule a charge??? Eg… do not charge between 5-9pm. I would have expected that to be the absolute baseline functionality for a $2000 installation.

I feel like I must be completely missing something here, but browsing support and there are no answers

I’d love for someone from myenergi to comment here… if you don’t see a response , then I would avoid this product completely
