Description
The myENV App is a one-stop platform in Singapore for environmental, water and food information at your fingertips.
It provides a comprehensive suite of information and services from the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) which covers weather, air quality, dengue hot spots, water level, flood, water disruption, hawker centre, food hygiene, and recycling. Users can also report feedback to MSE and its agencies through this app.
• Access real-time information on Singapore’s weather and receive push-notification alerts when heavy rain occurs
• View latest PSI & hourly PM2.5 information
• Locate dengue clusters
• Search for hawker centre
• View the food alerts and recall related information
• Obtain useful food hygiene related information such as Food Establishment Hygiene
Grades and list of licensed food caterers

myENV app will need access to certain features on your phone for the following reasons:
Calendar
This allows myENV to provide you more accurate information events, alerting you on weather and environmental conditions before your event
Location
Allowing myENV to use location will allow the app to serve you location-specific information (e.g weather, dengue)
Location When In Use
Allowing myENV to use location will allow the app to serve you location-specific information (e.g weather, dengue)
Location Always and When In Use
This allows myENV to use your location to understand your location patterns, so we can provide you more accurate suggestions based on your locations
Photos/Media/Files
Allow you to save photographs taken with myENV app in your phone and to attach them when you file a report to NEA/PUB/SFA
Camera
Access the phone's camera if you wish to attach a photograph while making a Report to NEA/PUB/SFA
Microphone
Required to record videos

This version includes:
• Receive alerts on heat stress level with additional threshold of 32 degree Celsius
• Updated advice on beach water quality
• Minor fixes and enhancements to improve user experience.

Ratings and Reviews
Trying to do too much
This used to be a great app and now it’s just horrible and difficult to use. Consider a user who is caught in the rain and waiting for it to pass. Previously you could simply tap on the rain reading icon to see the weather radar. Right now the overlays are off by default and it’s not obvious where you should be looking for a map. More user testing ought to have been done before such a release.
There is also no hierarchy of information in this cluttered app, so users do not know what is important or what to click on. It feels like all the graphics are trying to get my attention. Please keep the categories simple, reduce the use of colour only to where it is important, and keep navigation in one place if possible.
As someone who used to use this app on a daily basis, I can’t express enough how disappointed I am with this new design. Thanks for trying, but simply reverting to the original will be an improvement already.

Past week saying to upgrade to latest version due to iOS 15. I have been on the latest version.
Should not be that har to do a version check and not show it if you are on the latest version.
Also getting reminders on watch that version I am running, supports ends on 21 Sep, 2021!

Give us the old version back!
This new version is terrible. So clunky. Can’t see the map BEHIND the data. Crazy design. lightening and rain filters take to many steps to reach. Awful.
