App doesn’t work for IPAD

I was really excited in using this App, the website really resonated with me, but when I downloaded the app, it keeps freezing on IPAD. It would great when the app is working. Amazing idea.

Functionality has degraded in last few months

Ever since their most recent update, the app has all sorts of problems. For one, the dark mode switcher is now automatic and the button has been removed. This would be fine if the app actually consistently changed to light or dark modes at the right time, but it doesn’t. Note to the developers: simplicity and reductionism only works if you’ve nailed your core fundamentals.

Second, the app’s main feature is search. And yet the app has this nasty habit now of reseting your search while you are scrolling through the items you’re searching for. So you’ll type in “last 3 months” to find stuff you saved in that time period, and everything will be fine for a couple scrolls. And then the app’s screen will blip/reload and start showing you stuff from 12 months ago too but without removing your search query. So you don’t know if you’re looking at stuff from 12 months ago or 3 months ago anymore. I gotta say I’m mad about this. My subscription just renewed for something like $170+ AUD, and the fact the most basic of functions is not working properly means this will be the last year I’m a subscriber.

Is there an issue with iOS 14/iPhone 12 Pro models?

I can’t seem to be getting past the create note screen. It allows me to add pictures but when I try and look at my other notes that I’m sure I have created, I can’t move past the ‘create note here’ screen.

It works now but I hope the next update fixes the issue properly. The progress buttons were barely visible behind the ‘write a note here..’ screen. I had to tap on the border showing which allowed me to move to the next screen.

For such a beautiful app and it’s interface and functionality it was a terrible start but now that I’ve gone past those screens and able to use it, I’m thoroughly enjoying it. Thank you for getting back me.

We're sorry about this. This should be fixed now, we had an issue where the notes field was overlapping the onboarding experience (it shouldn't be there for the onboarding). We will fix this in our next update, but you should already now be able to continue using the app by scrolling on that view to use the button. Could you let me know if it works and update your review?
