Ratings and Reviews
In app live view doesn’t work
One of the features I was looking forward to when buying the 622gw was the in app live view, especially when looking at reverse camera. However the live view shows just as a black screen with a record button. Disappointing.
Other than that, the app seems to perform other functions sufficiently well.
Two app bugs
1. As many other reported, the live view always display black screen, the workaround is turn off the cellular network option, then it will work. However, the memory card in the dashcam will display nothing, until you go back to the main screen app and toggle the cellular network back.
2. The app will only work ONCE when I open the app from a fresh reinstall. Then when I close the app and try to access the app again anytime after that it displays black screen the entire app. Which means EVERYTIME I want to use the app, I have to delete app completely and reinstall again. Then repeat the same process again and again.

Not happy with app
A couple of ongoing issues. Regularly open app and get just a blue screen. Have to delete and re download app. This then deletes any videos saved to library.
In addition was really keen for live view, but when I open this, just get a black screen.
We use numerous dash cams in our vehicles, but based on a review by “Techradar” we purchased this model and brand. This was our first nextbase camera and sorry, but until these bugs are sorted we won’t buy another one!!
