Myob lover but this is Lacking so many things
I have just convinced my employer to update from Essentials to Accounting Right. What a mistake. At least with Essentials you can access via the web, Accounting Right you cant even do that, unless I am missing something. I have to literally have my laptop with me where I go as I constantly need to send purchase orders for stock, and I cant even do that as I have templates set up for everything, all you have access to is Invoices and contacts, and even the invoicing is limited. What about payroll, item invoicing. Given Myob has been around for many years and other companies allow you to do everything you can do on a desktop within their app this is very disappointing that Myob don’t have this. Given the fees they charge I am seriously thinking of taking business elsewhere unless major updates and availability is coming soon
Great app, just needs a tweak or two. I tried numerous times to create a quote while on the road and it kept having an error and would not create. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and starting from scratch but it would not work. Only way I could create a quote was to create an invoice and I will need to convert to quote when I get back to office. Also payment option choices were limited when I received a payment the other day, we received payment by direct deposit and this wasn’t an option. Also, I could not change the date of the payment received, it would only put in todays date, so I had to adjust once in office again. Excited for the possibilities.

I don't know where else to give MYOB a review so I'm writing it here.
I'm so tired of being locked out of my account due to stupid 2FA that I can't take it anymore and on the verge of cancelling my ,forever price increasing, subscription. This is a monthly occurrence. Even my accountant hates essentials and gets locked out. I have a new phone and can't use Google authenticator to log in so I can't use essentials until I can get someone support on the phone - which is impossible! All I want to do is send a small invoice but apparently the security risks involved are to high if I don't have 2FA.
What else can I do but cancel?
Do not use MYOB essentials!

Sorry to hear that your app isn't working. We've made quite a few updates to MYOB your last review, and you'll be happy to know that you can now create quotes and invoices and send them to your customers on-the-go :)
