You can access the application without a ticket and discover all the points of interest in Pompeii.
By accessing the application with a ticket, you will be able to take advantage of additional content. In this case, you will be able to access:
• By scanning the QR Code or the barcode shown on the ticket
• Manually enter the order number shown on your ticket
Application functionality by signing in without a ticket.
The Map feature allows you to discover all the points of interest that make the Archaeological Park of Pompeii one of the most important UNESCO World Heritage sites. For each point of interest, you will find descriptions, visiting hours, images, and much more. Within the map, there is an area dedicated to the services and facilities available within the Park.
In the Exhibitions and Routes feature you will find our suggestions for visits, such as dedicated exhibitions and routes.

All information about your visit will be available within the application, for example, the QR Codes associated with your ticket.
The Map functionality will propose the tour with all the points of interest that can be visited within Pompeii. For each point of interest, you will find audioguides designed for adults and children, descriptions, visiting hours, images, and much more. Frustratingly bad
Does not work. If you get it to open it continuously crashes. I was able to open the app when on stable Wi-Fi in my hotel and it is good (although needs information on the free bus service). It seems the app requires a stable internet connection to work which does not make sense given the archeological site is known to have poor 4G coverage. This is disappointing as once you’re in the archeological site there is very little information provided for tourists. Hordes of people just wandering aimlessly chancing upon the spectacular ruins this site offers and once they’ve found these sites they are offered very little to no information. This app is a necessity. App developers - for goodness sake build an app that works when deployed on the site it is intended to be used.
Very unstable, lots of features don't work
I think too much money has been invested in how the app looks rather than ensuring the app actually works. I found that no audio played from the audio guide, and the app would freeze often when going navigating the app. Perhaps all the money spent on this app could have gone towards installing plaques in the park, so that people actually have something to read and aren't forced to download another app, or download a PDF file which is also really difficult to navigate.
Total Scam
I swear this app is built so poorly to force you to buy audio tours from local vendors or go with their crazy expensive tour guides who tell you get to skip the queue with them (lie). Total scam. So if you go with the app option you get your ticket from the ticket office that has no QR code on it then you download the app and it asks you to scan the QR code that does not exist. You then get prompted to use the number next to the barcode. Somewhere in the vicinity of 20 numbers that they print the PO/date over making it nearly impossible to read not to mention the 20 plus numbers are so damn tiny you need a magnifying glass. After about 15 attempts I gave up and was forced to proceed without it only getting “limited” features. The GPS is garbage and the info loading takes an eternity and is pretty uninformative. Worst app I’ve ever used. Seriously. Ever. So bad I actually took time to write this review.
