Nonexistent support

When I first bought this irrigation controller it worked ok. Then after a firmware update to my fritzbox the solem wouldn’t connect (everything else still did). So I connected it through a ubiquiti access point. Then a year or so later after an update to the ubiquiti ap... you guessed it the solem wont connect (everything else still connects). Solem support is generic and hopeless. The wifi implementation on solem products is rubbish at best. Would not recommend! I’ll be replacing it with either a Rachio or Rainmachine.

Atrocious hardware, but app is ok

First off, the app is average, even with the update, it's still average. User interface is not cluttered and easy to use and start manually. It clear and easy to navigate, the connection is the issue, but as stated just average.
Secondly, the product connected to this app,the wifi series irrigation controllers (WFMB) are shocking. Their inability to let the app connect to the network and the controllers is a hair pulling experience. The Wifi (WFIP) have a very poor range 2/3 rds less than the quoted range and they have to be pinged manually to get them to start up.
Look around and you will see better and cheaper products, Hydrawise and the one I'm using now is Waterme, both good apps and hardware.
Finally customer service is nonexistent for this product.

A great app! It’s performance is awesome, just needs a few tweaks and a UI revamp...
