FEATURES:

SECURITY:
Your credentials and data are secured and never leave your devices - AES encryption. For additional protection, the bluetooth communication channel is internally encrypted.
REQUIREMENTS:
Near Lock requires a Mac that is running Mavericks or later. Your Mac also needs to support the latest Bluetooth LE technology.
The following Macs support Bluetooth LE:

Love the App, in spite of Bluetooth issues
I’m absolutely thrilled with this app in spite of some difficulties getting it to stay connected to my MacBook Pro, after several attempts to flush the Bluetooth cache I can’t believe how many times I used to type in my password, every few minutes!
Admittedly I was running 3 iPhones, 2 MacBook Pros, and an iPad in one room which also included an AMPLifi guitar amp, a Bluetooth Tower speaker, and a pair of Beats Bluetooth headphones!
The Bluetooth issues only surfaced after waking up in the morning following installation, after allowing the connected iPhone to run out of power and shut down the night before.
At each attempt to fix the Bluetooth disconnection behaviour I was concerned the developer had dropped the ball only to discover a timely dialogue pop up with useful advice.
Eventually the issue was fixed using the suggestion offered in the original troubleshooting guide, although it took repeated efforts to flush the cache before that actually succeeded!
I’m overall very impressed with the amount of effort seemingly invested and level of detail delivered with this App, even the promotional video on the website was entertaining and fun to watch.

The recent update seems to have fixed the disconnection/clear Bluetooth cache problem and I’ve had no problems with it at all since the update. So it now does (again) what it’s designed to do and is indispensable as far as I’m concerned.
Well though out solution that works
I was looking for a proximity lock solution for my Mac and this cane out in my search results. I’ve been testing for the last week and purchase the in app pro version. Love it works well and well thought out
