Useful lifestyle app
Extremely useful app for people living in Singapore. You can get good discounts from many food and shopping places by using the coupons in the app. Bus and mrt info are also in the app so you don't really need other apps after you've downloaded this. It's kind of like a one-app-to-rule-them-all sort of app I suppose. Hahaha
NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN
App displays notifications multiple times per day with "news" stories, often about sexual abuse, children being murdered, or decomposed bodies being found.
I have reported this to the app makers, I have reported this App to Apple. A few days ago I accidentally clicked on a notification and was sent to photos and video of a woman on train tracks with her legs cut off in a failed suicide attempt. Today I opened it to get a train timetable and was greeted with an extremely graphic photo of a pet cat lying in a mess of blood after dying from stab wounds to the face.
This app is disgusting.
Avoid anything from this provider.

At Nestia, we strive to keep our users up to date on the happenings not just within Singapore but globally. We do not censor the news for our users. As such, we do update the app with news on sensitive topics, be it terrorism, murder or even animal abuse.
In order to ensure that our content is suitable for a wide audience, we do our best to mosaic out any gore or nudity. If we are unable to do so, the content would be labelled properly to highlight that the content within the article or video might be too graphic for the more sensitive.
However, we hope that you would not only focus on the negative side of news. On our app, we also do keep our users up to date on other happenings that are extremely heartwarming, like heartland charity efforts and hidden good deeds.
