Why pay for it when there is a free version?

Why didn't I give it 5 stars?
Whilst it is a lot easier playing the synth via an external keyboard you don't get any visual feedback from the iPhone screen of either the notes being played or the settings of the controls. You can make some extraordinary sounds utilising the XY control but you can't see where you have moved it to, if you are making changes via real knob and MIDI
I've been messing around with synthesisers for 30 years. The sound, power and price of this app, along with a number of others like Bebot, Filtatron, Gyrosynth and NanoStudio, is truly mind blowing.
Great synth.
Fantastic sounds from the iPhone. The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 is that I've occasionally experienced brief times where it doesn't output sound. It's very possible/likely it's just me, since I can't find any sort of support about the issue, but I can only review from my own experience. Nonetheless thoroughly recommended. It doesn't come close to a decent analog synth, but as an instrument in its own right it's fantastic.

This is the iPhone version of the most powerful synth app on the market, the NLog Synth Pro iPad app. This price is amazing as it offers virtually the same capabilities as it's big brother. If iPhone music production is your thing then you have to get this app, or if you just want to have fun and be amazed, this app will exceed your expectations. There also is a comprehensive manual available and great customer support. If you own an iPad don't miss the experience of the Nlog Synth Pro, it really does go further than all the others. Both these apps will change your life and creative potential.
