This update adds markdown support to tables, enhanced folder view filtering, and improved teamspace functionality, along with various improvements and bug fixes.

ENHANCEMENTS:

1. Markdown Support in Tables
- Full markdown formatting now available within table cells
- Support for bold, italic, and other text formatting
- Add links: both web and note links
- Include tasks, bullets, and nearly all editor features within tables
- Note: Tasks in tables are not yet supported in plugins, filters, or references

2. Advanced Folder View Filtering
- Apply multiple filters simultaneously for more precise organization
- New date filter options, such as "This Month", "Future", and "Past" and more

3. Teamspace Calendar Task Integration (in the folder view)
- Teamspaces now show tasks from calendar notes and regular notes (click/tap on the teamspace and switch the level to "Tasks").

IMPROVEMENTS:

- Updated the AI interface for prompts on selected text (or empty selection). Select text and open the AI dialog: hit CMD+O (or find it in the menubar "Format" > "Prompt AI"), or use the slash menu: "/prompt"
- Added a default option to properties: "Show Field Title" to show or hide the property title in the fields.
- Added a search option to ignore calendar notes and just return regular notes (use the settings button right of the search text field).
- Improved folder view list display on iPhone, now optimized for a mobile view.
- Fixed text wrapping in cards (Kanban View), so you can have longer summaries for example.
- Fixed opening tags after opening a folder

My daily workbench

NotePlan has become my main window (other than email Teams) and the single place that I can capture notes, tasks, and reference materials. During my working day I used to use OneNote for notes, Todoist for tasks, and DevonThink to capture booksmarks and frequently used links. NotePlan replaces them all.

Initially I was dissatisified that I could manage my actions as I did in Todoist or Things (where I have nested tags and different filters / views to surface what I need when I need it), and bounced right off of NotePlan after playing with it for a few hours. When I committed to using it for a week and got to know it, I realised that it was just as powerful, just with a different workflow. Having 10 minutes in the morning and end of day to review and reorgaise is the perfect way to stay on top of everything.

There's plenty right there on the surface, but when you start using Synced Lines, backlinks, and custom themes that allow you to highlight delegated tasks, high priority tasks, etc (they offer a a tutorial that makes that easy), you start to realise how flexible a tool NotePlan is.

This is the note and calendar app you've been searching for

This is the one for serious note taking, organising, planning and calendar and reminders flawless integration.

You can link every single, note, task, event etc. to each other. Ease of use with keyboard, for example to create a task you type * and then write your task. To create a dividing line you just type --- and hit enter. This is the fastest process I've ever used.

I have tried, over years and years, every note taking app, calendar, to do list, and none of them have stuck or have been too much hard work.

I don't know why I haven't seen this NotePlan before but I downloaded it yesterday and after only 24 hours I have everything sorted. This will be my daily everything in one place.

I am a business owner, university student, mother of four, and have A LOT of information, dates, research, reminders... This app does it all and works seamlessly on Mac and iPhone,

These people know what they are doing.
This is a legitimate review, I am paying for this. $15 monthly as a test, but after 1 day of using it I will be purchasing a year at a time.

Managing my Work Just Got Easier

I’ve been using NotePlan for a little over a month. Already I am seeing benefits in keeping track of what I need to do. I can take notes throughout the day in various meetings and immediately add to do tasks, tag other people, or hashtag particular topics or even start specific notes for certain projects.

I’m still learning to use this tool but have just finished my time with the trial version and have paid for the annual subscription. Looking forward to learning all the tips and tricks of the tool to help me be even better at managing my work.
