Notes for Apple Watch 4+

I just downloaded this app today and after using the developers previous app, which was recently removed from the watch, was intrigued to see how this innovative keyboard works in combination with a notes app. The app requires quite a few updates for it to replace my current notes app - Drafts. Theses are: a larger/more responsive ‘Delete’ button since the current one is small and takes multiple taps to activate (an additional feature could be added - press and hold the delete button to delete an entire word and a single tap to delete a single character), a distinct delete button to delete an entire note, an append/prepend option within each note (as demonstrated in Drafts), an ‘inbox number’ for use on the infograph complication (also demonstrated in Drafts), and as a cherry on top a force touch menu on the home screen of the app to possibly sort the notes alphabetically etc. I really hope the developer takes this into account and releases further updates soon to create the most fully featured note taking app on the watch.

I’ve known about FlickType for a while, but just heard that this notes app came out using it.

I’m a developer myself, and use FlickType in my own apps, so I both have a high standard and know how hard making watch apps can be.

But I gotta say, FlickType Notes is a perfect note taking app on the go. Having notes sync between devices is super helpful too.

Don’t really have a negative thing to say about it

This is app is brilliant for creating and syncing lists to your watch.

I use it to manage workout lists on my watch for my gym sessions. I have different lists for upper body, lower body, specific muscle isolation plans, etc - each containing the exercises, weights and rep counts I want per session.

The ability to sort and colour code the lists makes it easy to group them according to your preferences. I love it!
