I have a 2023 Renault Scenic and I tried many OBD scanners without success before trying this one. Initially it didn’t read many codes but over the years has improved, presumably with ongoing development. It’s very pleasing that the improvements apply to older cars and not just newer models. It’s not as good as the reader used by my mechanic but impressive for the price. I use it when something doesn’t seem right or to try and find the cause of an ongoing intermittent starting problem (still not solved but they are the hardest to find!)

How frustrating when it comes on. Do I have a panic attack and pull over like the cars on fire? Do I ignore it and hope it goes away? Or do I drive to the nearest dealer to have my wallet emptied and the light turned off with his whiz bang plug I gizmos. No, with a basic ELM2 I can now read the codes, Freeze the codes and what they mean then, turn off the light and head to my favourite mechanic in time as necessary. More often than not it’s millivolt dropped somewhere. A must have if going on a long drive.

Great app up until apple updated iPhone software so we can no longer use it on a wifi device so please fix this issue as the app will not connect due to apples new network settings.
