Maybe the app is good but the bank restrains it
I recently had my credit card stolen. For Permata bank it was one click on the app and my card was locked and a new one sent. For OCBC there is no option on the app. The process of cancellation was a long drawn out affair. I’m not sure that it is cancelled even now. My private banker couldn’t stop the card and the call centre process was painful. The bank is inflexible; their version of my card spells out my first and middle name in full with just one letter of my last name. Now the thief of my wallet has the full spelling of my first and second name - quite private information. They have my last name from my other card. Some vendors do not like payment without my last name - airlines in particular. I asked OCBC to use my part first name and last, or my first two initials - like other credit card companies do. OCBC will not alter my name on the card. What use is my last name abbreviated to one letter?

Not happy
As soon as l updated this app it would not allow me to use lower case letters so would not accept my password. I am not living in Indonesia and several expensive phone calls and they promised to fix it. Still waiting. I will change my bank as soon as l can travel to Bali.
Thanks Developer…oh if it were just that easy. I did ring that number (the phone call from Australia will be more than 300,000IDR because l had to wait 10 minutes on hold).
The young lady l spoke to said l had to ring my branch. She gave me the number which l can not connect to. So my call was a total waste of money.
I can not believe your bank will not allow my registered phone number to be my actual number in Australia. It is just crazy.

Bad for foreign currency transfer
I have no problem using the application before, however for this past few weeks i can’t do the forex transfer especially on the transfer purposes feature, it shown “data not found”. I have been complaining to my RM and submit the complain form through ocbc website as well and still no change. Please fix this because it is very annoying and i just think to change other bank if i can not use one mobile for transfer.
