Fun game, unusual monetisation
Iv been playing this game for around a week now and made good progress, game pace is nice and purchases feel meaningful. The art is cute and scratches the itch for idle game and incremental upgrades.
I see many complaints that this game is a reskin of other similar titles but at the end of the day, it’s a simple idle game with cute cats… what’s not to love.
My one complaint is that progression is seriously stymied if you aren’t willing to watch ads (I mean hundreds of ads here). Understandably it’s a free game and the developers need to make money, but naturally the next logical thing is to sell the solution to the problem you’ve created.
This leads to my major gripe… the ad free purchase is absurdly expensive. The regular price is $60 AUD discounted 50% off to $30 AUD. Ad free in most games seems to fall between the$5-$10 mark, and for that I likely would make the purchase as it would seriously improve the gameplay.
At $30 I will not and cannot recommend anyone purchase and I highly advise if they aren’t interested in watching 40-50 ads a day to find another game.
It’s good but has a lot of issues
At first the game ran smoothly but after a while of playing it starts getting buggier. When moving into the second building the offices would always be under maintenance and whenever I tap the icon to fix it, it always says to try again later but it never works.
I also can’t interact with certain rooms like the bathroom, the only way I did manage it was through the daily tasks, but when I purchased upgrades for the bathroom nothing changes, but it still says I upgraded it
