Once upon a time, two nerds embarked on a little project to help local businesses transform and adapt to taking orders online. This little project was their side hustle along side their real job - running two tiny local businesses.

632 days later (and still counting), after investing over 11,370 hours of their lives in writing code, buying just under 1,950 coffees, and occasionally tasting locally brewed gin, they are excited and yet teary to launch something that will always remain very close to both their souls - Order Local.

They started this project with the intention to explore various algorithms and coding practices behind real-time eCommerce and database structuring. Today, their work is looked at differently by many small local businesses. This app serves as a transparent channel for any small local business to reach the community. Every small business can reach the community by:
Showcase their brand;
Display an interactive digital menu;
Accept bookings and reservations;
Offer direct Online Ordering - accept Cash/EftPOS/Online Payments
Promote specials, discounts and vouchers.

The Order Local platform will serve small businesses by helping them receive orders online and have a strong community presence without having to pay commissions or monthly fees to have an online presence.

We launch this platform to help every small local business have a digital presence - Cafe, Bakeries, Restaurant, Pizzeria, Burger Bar, Juice Shop, Takeaway shops, Fruit and Veg shop, Butcher, Speciality Retail Store, Car Wash... Any small local business can setup their store themselves!
