** Apple Design Award winner and iPad Game of the Year! **
Enter the Darwinian world of a galactic mote. To survive, absorb smaller organisms and grow—but beware of larger predators. Osmos features unique physics-based play, stellar graphics, and a hypnotic ambient soundtrack. Absorb or be absorbed!
“The ultimate ambient experience” — Gizmodo
“The best iPad game yet.” — IGN
you must grow by absorbing smaller motes, but to propel yourself you must eject matter behind you, causing you to shrink. From this delicate balance, Osmos leads the player through floating playgrounds, competitive petri dishes, deep solar systems, and more.
“Named as iPad Game of the Year for a reason, Osmos is a fantastic game. A combination of physics, survival and classic eat em up” — WeDoCode
“Whether you're a child at heart who likes mucking about with single-cell organisms, or a strategist with a physics degree, this game will appeal to everyone.” — App Store review

Ratings and Reviews
It is refreshing these days to have a game that is on the one hand relaxing and on the other, with enough, shall we say ...skill ? involved to maintain the interest, without having to slaughter zombies or save some world from an alien invasion; not that there isn't a time and a place for a bit of gratuitous 'bloodening'
so, a good game worth coming back to in your more reflective moments, and $6.00 ? ...shoot, a sandwitch costs more, and that is all gone in ..what , five minutes ?
If you're even a bit tempted, go for it.
Update : Epic job people. 👍🏻. Now, concentrate allllll your resources on ...Osmos VR .
Copy and paste the title, wow :)
I wrote that first review nearly 6 years ago. There's a very good reason that this is listed as an Apple essential app, the gameplay, visuals and sound are still unbelievable and this is a must have title. With a decent set of headphones on this can't be missed by anyone who enjoys using their iPad
Such a good game.
I got this game way back on my iPad 3 (first retina iPad!) And I totally fell in love with it. It is a great, immersive game that is relaxing yet tense at the same time. It is worth it. Not sure of the price now but I've got an iPad once again and its awesome to have! It's one of those early games that made the iPad "magical" to me.
