Very similar to Soulknight
This game is amazingly great, but this game is still lacking content because it recently released so please people, the game isn’t done yet. They may release new characters that isn’t lock behind a paywall, there could be more content with different gimmicks to keep thing fresh. So rather than complaining about the game being locked behind a paywall or it being a “Pay to Win” kind of games, don’t hate the developer for it or they be sad and less motivated to work on the game.
Onto another point that is great about the game, it’s not pay to win, like really. It may seem like nearly half of the game content is pay to win but is it really though? If you properly read the stats and skill information closely, you might see that every skill and characters has it’s own strengths and weaknesses. So the next time you’re complaining about the game being a pay to win, have a good look at yourself and ask, am I bad at this game or I just haven’t play it long enough to upgrade my character?

Great! But tedious sometimes
It’s great, but the bosses and the ranged enemies are really annoying. Because this game is mainly horizontal, there’s no easy way to get around ranged enemies, especially the stone walls mini boss. The bosses have a similar problem. The Halberd and Tengu have attacks that reach very far or chase you, and you can’t really get past them except avoiding them entirely for 5 seconds. I personally found it very tedious to attack twice and walk to the other side and repeat again and again.
Continued Improvement
It was good before but now it’s phenomenal. This isn’t to say it isn’t without its problems but after coming back to it after some years, it’s noticeably improved from perhaps a dozen more characters to a system to get them WITHOUT paying—this is most appreciated.
I’ll continue to enjoy this game for some time to come.
