Build your own rig by using an unlimited number of amplifiers, cabinets, stompboxes and studio processors in your sound chain. You can connect your guitar to the iOS device using any digital audio interface.
Overloud TH-U includes:
• 86 guitar amplifiers and 4 bass amplifiers
• Official Randall, THD, DVmark and Brunetti models

• 73 pedal and rack effects
• 1000+ Presets
• 5000+ Captured Rigs
Overloud TH-U includes the Rig Player, the Overloud processor which allows to reproduce captured Amps, Cabs and Rigs.
Several Rig producers already joined TH-U to provide their top quality captured tones, which are now available on iOS too.
The FREE version includes 3 amplifiers, 3 cabinets, 4 stompbox effects, the Rig Player, a master effect section, 18 microphones and a looper.
Sign up to the Overloud account to:
- unlock 17 additional FREE models and Rigs
- get the iOS license of all models and Rigs at a very competitive price if you already own TH-U and Rig Libraries for Desktop
Overloud TH-U for iOS runs the same DSP full processing of the Desktop version for an unprecedented simulation quality.
The AUv3 included format allows you to process your DAW guitar tracks with the full power of the TH-U audio engine.
You can share presets with the Desktop version using the most common cloud services, like iCloud, Dropbox or Google Drive.
Overloud TH-U is stage ready: you can fully control it using any MIDI pedalboard and play with no gaps thanks to the seamless preset change feature.
Overloud TH-U can process your guitar sound while the device is playing a backing track through your preferred App (Music, Youtube, Anytune, …).
Overloud TH-U has a flexible sound chain: you can add any number of effects, change their order with no limitations, and set up parallel chains of effects.
With the Amp Tweak feature, you can customize the amplifiers by changing the preamp and power amp tubes, and simulate the action of a Variac.
The ReSPiRe 2 technology allows you to choose between the real response of the cabinet and a processed version optimized to fit into a mix and avoid frequency overlap with other instruments.

Ratings and Reviews
awesome sounds
Great work on porting this to ios!!
just a bug i think- looper metronome always seems to go at same tempo no matter what tempo i put in..
Very impressive.
The user interface of Overloud takes a little getting used to - it’s not quite as intuitive as Bias, but it’s not too bad. The sounds are stellar - particularly the rigs. I think the sounds are better than Bias FX and the distorted tones might be better than Neural Archetypes - though Neural’s clean tones are beautiful. Being able to set up scenes to seamlessly switch through with the midi footswitch is brilliant for live. Note: while you can only turn FX on/off in scenes, you can have multiple copies of the same FX in your chain and switch between them. I often use two or three rigs and several echo/‘verbs in the same patch so I can switch a/b/c/d live with any combo I want. The Xsonic Xtone works well with thu. Probably the only real downside is cost - if you start buying individual FX or packs / rigs, you can blow a hundred bucks pretty quick but considering I can use this live with my amp or as a practice rig via Quantiloop on the iPad - worth it.
Great sound, awful user interface
In my quest for a good iPad pedalboard I’ve tried literally all the apps around. There’s no question that this app really sounds good. The amp and cabinet sounds are great. The stomp sounds are great.
The user interface however is diabolically bad. Even the competition’s free versions offer a better user interface - I’ve never tapped so much in an app to be able to do something. Editing is infuriating, the zooming in and out is infuriating, the constant scrolling back and forth is mind numbing, and the fact that you can’t grab a dial and turn it, like every single other guitar fx sim in the App Store, is a total deal breaker.
To run together any sort of chain is to spend your time opening and closing the edit window and then zooming out and then tapping and then editing and then closing ad nauseum. In short, Sound great, useability, zero.
