Description

Oz Farmer is intended to assist farmers in every day calculations and record keeping.

Oz Farmer provides various spray calibration tools that will allow you to calibrate your boom spray to achieve a specific application rate. It will also allow you to determine spray pressures to achieve the required spray output. There is also a tool to determine the total amount of liquid, chemical and tanks required to complete the spray job. Both Spray Calibration and Mixture Calculation results can be emailed for various record keeping requirements.

Oz Farmer also allows the recording of chemical treatments of cattle, sheep, grains and crops and also determines the safe for slaughter and feed dates for specific treatments given the applicable withholding period. Treatment records can then be queried and exported for specific periods via email as an Excel spreadsheet.

Oz Farmer has a gestation calculator that determines the expected due date after servicing for common farmed animals. Once the expected date has been calculated this can then be entered into the calendar for future reference and alerts.

Oz Farmer has a conversion calculator to perform conversion between commonly used units (i.e. Acre to Hectares).

Comprehensive app for the modern farmer.
Gestation calculator is essential for stud and commercial breeders alike. You can set an alert in your phone to match calving or lambing times which is essential in shorter joining periods and replanning joining times for the following year.
The spray calculator will certainly reduce costs through more accurate application rates and can only be better for planning prior to spraying. Also withholding periods are now very accurate and I have a copy for downloading to farm records, and a legal slaughter date set.

All round a very useful app reducing reliance on pen to pad in the paddock.
