Subscriptions to Pacer Premium are £9.99 per month or £39.99 for a full year. Pacer Premium subscriptions will be charged to your iTunes account after your confirmation of purchase.

You can use your iTunes account to subscribe and pay for Pacer Premium. Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions will renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, and will renew at the same cost. You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your iTunes Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that service, where applicable.

A great pedometer app

This is a great app for walkers and runners. The details it gives whenever you use it for walking and running are almost complete, even for a basic version, it gives almost all the details you need to track how many steps and how many kilometres/miles you’ve done on a day to day basis such as when working and your every movement anywhere, also the workout feature, when you’re out there for a walk or run, and the GPS feature to track your walk/run route and the calories you’ve burned and also a timer, and the best part is that the app is not going to nag you to subscribe to their premium edition to get the complete features. Thanks for this great app.

Clumsy and confusing interface

I actually like this app! I’m trialing the premium version and I like how it looks and what it does HOWEVER I find it so confusing and hard to navigate. I spend way to long fumbling around looking for certain features. I still can’t work out how to find groups or join communities. I recorded a route yesterday and can’t find it anywhere. It took me ages to locate my exercise history and I find the way it’s logged quite unsatisfying. Coach with all your personal stats is tucked away somewhere and there’s no easy way to access yesterday’s info. Overall because of the awkward and frustrating navigational issues within the app I’m thinking I will cancel once the trial runs out. Such a shame because really it shouldn’t be hard to make something a little more user friendly and enjoyable to use. I like the front page with the pedometer, along with the live updates while walking and the advice on how many calories need to be burned to stay on track and that’s about it.

With encouragement from a friend, I decided to join up, only yesterday. Already I’ve pulled out all stops to kick up the walking regime. How couldn’t you when you get audio updates every 5 minutes to see how far you’ve come!! It even had me jogging and my 10,000 steps turned into nearly 12,000! I am on holidays so this is a slightly different scenario yet with a full exploration of the functionality of this app, I can really see myself going places!

PS Comment some 3 to 4 months later, this app still delivers and continues to be a way for me to keep being active on a daily basis.
