The PAH-SYMPACT™ (Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Symptoms and Impact) App is a mobile device applicative developed based on the FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) validated quality of life questionnaire specific for PAH patients.

It helps patients track their symptoms and the impact of those on daily and weekly basis. Reports can be generated* to be taken to support consultations where patient and healthcare professionals can assess and manage the condition.

There are 4 domains tracked in the app: cardiovascular, cardiopulmonary, physical, and cognitive/emotional. Each of those with several other parameters relative to the condition.

The reports show trend lines on those domains, supporting healthcare professionals and patients to identify if any specific ones need to be addressed in the management of PAH.

Patients can also keep records of their healthcare team, appointments and set reminders to complete the questionnaire.

There is a daily questionnaire capturing the symptoms related to PAH. And there is a weekly questionnaire, tracking the impact of those symptoms in the patient’s day to day life.
