Good for a free app

I found this app really useful and the upgrade was excellent for the brief time I had it. Like others, it disappeared when I closed the computer. Apple blamed the creator, the Paint 2 support said it was an App Store problem. Money refunded but Id rather have had the upgraded App without the drama.

Keep being asked to pay more for functions previously usable

I bought this for 7.99 originally and don't recall having any issues using all the functions available. Maybe over a year in I was being asked to pay to use the reflect function on text, which I'd used previously and had documents where it had been used, so I had to copy and paste text from older versions to get around this. I'm now using an older version on an older system and I can't even copy and paste "large" items between windows. I've done a lot of stuff with this app that I wasn't asked to pay more for but it seems the developer just decides to lock functions if you don't give them more. I did pay to have the reflection function activated and had to get a refund because it never updated correctly and kept asking me to pay again. Really disappointing considering I've used this to do a lot of stuff and rely on it for cover art for my books where I have to save money.

WaterMarks

Just downloaded the app to sort some things out for work, and when trying to save the images as anything ather than the original file type, (e.g. jpeg or png,) it refused to let me save without a watermark. The app was ok, but the experience of using it was horrendous.
