Parkhound: Easy Parking App 4+

I was so excited about the app and already use Parkhound
The app is really great as I am on the go and needed an one stop shop from mobile
So the app is seamless in its customer journey and therefore quickly takes you through the journey without any bother at all

This app is so hard to use. I don’t know if I’ve ever experienced it using an app that is so dysfunctional it’s almost not even worth trying.

When you look in specific areas, you can’t even put a date range for search in, and when scrolling through the different car spaces, sometimes, even though you were clicking on a different spot, the physical listing doesn’t even change, and when you try and click the button to go back, it is so far up the top left-hand of the screen and also sitting on top of a function for the phone itself, most of the time the back button doesn’t work

I tried to make a booking and it told me that the owner of the car space had to confirm the booking and then the next morning I received a confirmation and the owner of the car space hadn’t actually confirmed and that park Hound had confirmed on their behalf, which then meant I had been charge for the booking and I couldn’t even use the space. And while I did get a refund. The multiple times that I have physically tried to contact Park hound asking questions, I have never had a response. You need to lift your game.

And one more thing. You need to put in height restriction limits for physical car spaces. Probably one of the most important things when you are a company renting out garages through third parties

Great idea and concept, poorly translated from a website to a phone.
Doesnt rotate, poor choice of font colors for reading, constantly rotating pictures making them hard to examine for those having specific requirement.
Messaging window is appalling and not resizeable. Messages more than a couple of words must be read on the website as the app wont display them. Everytime you blink your logged out of the website. Number obfuscation in messages is very poorly executed. Interface is overly cluttered and you cant move things away to see more, e.g. maps.
What a shame... spend some money on some UX development, and make people want to use it, not turn people away from your product.
