The app for the triathlon official that documents, sorts and communicates penalty details among the entire officiating crew including penalty tents, eliminating paper penalty books and logs, creating more efficient referees and significantly decreasing clerical errors.


PENALTY TRAKER Features:

- Create an officials account from iPhone
- Create events from iPhone
- Choose event specific rules, PIN, and imperial vs. metric system for distance measurement
- Each event requires PIN for protection and access
- Invite users with an account to an event via e-mail directly from app
- Document required penalty details such as; bib number and penalty type in order to submit penalty
- Document optional penalty details such as: gender, bike type, bike color, top color, pant color, helmet color, penalty, mile location of infraction, miscellaneous notes and photo option in order to submit penalty
- Delete penalties no longer being assessed
- Check-in athletes who present at the penalty tent
- Sort submitted penalties by active vs. deleted, time submitted vs. athlete bib number, and checked-in vs. not checked-in.
- GPS pin point for location penalty submitted
- Use iPhone as correct penalty card color coordinated to the infraction
- E-mail penalty log to timer or to self for archiving
- Up to the moment live penalty details available to entire officiating crew to assist athletes

Official’s Process
- Create an official’s account from iPhone with name and e-mail address
- Document penalty details and submit
- Penalty details at finger tips for athlete inquires at race site
- E-mail penalty data for digital archiving

+ Can I use PENALTY TRACKER on a laptop?
No, PENALTY TRACKER is only a mobile app.

+ Does every official working an event need to be on the app for it to work?
Ideally, PENALTY TRACKER works best when the entire officiating crew is processing penalties within the app, yet individual officials can certainly use the app solo (or partial crews) as an easy way to document penalties with further processing later.

+ Do I need access to wi-fi or an internet connection?
Yes. Should parts of the race course not have service, once the official rejoins service all inputted penalty data will then upload.

+ Can I see penalties issued at every event on Penalty Tracker?
No. You can only see the penalties at events you have an access PIN number for.
