Still works very well
It’s a long time since I first used Permute but just needed to convert some .dav security camera files and found that much newer apps couldn’t do it. Then I realised that I had Permute on the computer so tried it. It worked very quickly and di a great job.
Easy and straight forward
This is the kind of app that does the job and does it well. I am impressed by how it even leaves the meta data intact for most of my conversions which sadly alot of other apps strip out (and I have tried many). The ability to batch process files, set your own filetype profiles in a straight forward manner is greate. Well worth the cash and an easy 5 stars.
Does the job.
Mainly purchased this to transcode all my old AVI movie RIPS to M4V rips … does it quickly and simply … didn’t have to think at all
If I need more options I can always try Handbrake, but you have to think too much when using that … and a few dollars is well worth me not having to think.
So yes, buy this software
