Great app, aside from the zoom

As others have mentioned, this is a great app. For those who are just looking for an image editor to do some quick touch ups and don’t want to get bogged down in paywalls and massive installs of professional giants like Adobe, this is an absolute lifesaver. I haven’t explored the full feature set at the time of writing, but even a quick glance reveals a ton of abilities. The overall experience is smooth and responsive. From installing to editing images it took a couple of minutes at most - so you can just download and go, which is something I personally value a lot.

My main issue is the same as what some others have reported. The random zoom is really frustrating, and knocked off a star from my rating. It seems to happen randomly, while in the middle of editing, and happens whether using a mouse or the trackpad. Not a showstopper for me, since I don’t do too much of this kind of work and it won’t break workflows etc, but I can see it being a turn-off for others. Would love for developers to fix this in the future release.

Other than that, great effort.

I would have given it 5 stars if the scrolling option were better. the natural instinct of a mac user is to scroll up and down with two fingers, however on this program that sets off a crazy zoom. it isn’t a big issue as I can easily use the scrolling bers on the side and top of the screen. but it is a little inconvenient. otherwise, it seems to be really good, and can work surprisingly good details considering it is light weight and free.

Mostly great

I got this because I have some old negatives to scan, so I needed a program to be able to invert them.
Works great. 4/5 though because of the scrolling issue others have mentioned, and also because it regularly crashes.
