Description
Photography workflow app for serious enthusiasts.
1. Quickly choose the best photos.
2. Edit them to achieve the perfect look.
3. Save results non-destructively, or export with advanced options.
MULTIPLE SOURCES
Work with images on your Mac, or directly with the Photos Library. Without strict cataloguing requirements.
EFFECTIVE SELECTION / CULLING
Compare photos side-by-side to choose the best ones.
• Preview multiple photos side-by-side.
• Synchronize their zoomed position.
• Zoom on faces with a single click.
• Assign flags and ratings.
• Sort and filter based on flags and ratings.
We believe that if a photo has faces, they are likely the most important part. And we developed unique tools to easily compare faces in multiple photos.
EDITING
Achieve the perfect look with full control for a single image.
RAW PROCESSING
Get the most out of your photos if you shoot RAW. Make sure to check how our unique whites recovery tool fixes overexposed areas!
FACE ADJUSTMENT
Easily adjust either individual detected faces, or all at once, without manual brushing. Often faces benefit from some additional lighting, contrast, sharpness, noise reduction, etc.
AUTOMATIC-FIRST ENHANCEMENT
Enhance photos automatically using our unique image analysis algorithms. Then customize results to your liking, if necessary.
BATCH PROCESSING
Make coarse adjustments to multiple photos at a time. Or edit one photo, then copy & paste its settings to all similar photos. This saves you a lot of time.
NON-DESTRUCTIVE EDITS
Photo Sense always keeps your original photos intact. When you save changes, they are all written in metadata, without changing the actual image pixels. Metadata is saved in the Photos Library, within image files, or in sidecar XMP files. Saved Library photos can always be reverted back to the original.
CLOUD SYNC
Edits in iCloud Library photos are synchronized with other devices if you have cloud sync enabled in the Photos app. You can start editing on one Mac, and continue on another one.
SORTING / FILTERING
Manage photos effectively by assigning photos “pick” / “reject” flags, star ratings, and “favorite” flags. Sort and filter based on these properties.
ADVANCED EXPORT
Flexible export capable of batch resizing, changing metadata, renaming, and format conversion.
AI ENLARGEMENT / UPSCALING
High-quality image enlargement using AI. Upscale to any size up to 800%.

What’s New
Version 3.5
This version introduces the high-quality image enlargement using AI. You can now upscale photos to any size up to 800%.
AI enlargement takes more time than the regular upscaling algorithm. However, it achieves a much better output image quality. Recommended when enlarging images substantially.
To use AI enlargement, add the export action "Resize Advanced". Define a larger size, e.g. 200%. Then select the option "enlarge using AI" under "If image is too small".
Ratings and Reviews
Great for image comparison
I was using Aperture way after it was discontinued, simply because it was perfect for taking photos and comparing them (I'm using a camera for medical images, and often need to compare one photo with an earlier photo to see if anything has changed). It's been a real struggle to find anything at all that allows me to put two images next to eachother to compare, and also zoom in on parts of the images. This is the best I've found, so kudos to the developers.
One thing I would love is to be able to see the filename beneath the image thumbnail in the Browser (especially in the Preview Browser view), or to have it pop up in a tooltip as I cross over the thumbnail - that way I could quickly select a comparison image from a particular date (because I include the date in the filename). Sure, I can see the filename if I have the info pane open, but that's a whole lot of screen taken up just to see the filename.
Developer Response ,
Hi Paul, Thanks for your warm feedback! You should already be able to see filenames in the Browser-only layout under a few conditions: (1) The option "Show Image Info in Browser" is selected in the menu "View", (2) The Browser thumbnails are large enough (use the zoom slider below to enlarge them), and (3) You are not working with Photos Library images not yet downloaded from iCloud. We will consider adding info overlays also in the split layouts, when both Browser and Preview are shown.
