difficult to use

The main reason for getting this app is to modify the pictures in photos, but there seems to be no way to search the pictures imported from the photos directory to find the files you need after importing all photos. Also, once the exif data has been changed, it would seem that you save it to another folder, import it into photos and then remove the original picture. Too complicated

Regretful to say

Unsure in exactly how to word this. I love the look feel & detail this app has ventured towards achieving, surprisingly though I find the absence of a file menu mainly for the habit of it being native to most apple based apps having the open, save and save as feature they arnt there… I closed the initial pop up dialog box with the great photography and swoosh of colour but failed to notice the tiny options to either open the file or open a batch of files which again is a great feature to discover, after being kind of stumped for a second i wasnt quite sure what to do next i had the program loaded but no way to open a file… I went for file>open (as above) not there so went for the drag and drop on the app in dock, nope doesnt accept then load, so i thought right click and use open with, hmm nothing, so i closed the main app window and a dialog box was behind it with the Photo EXIF logo top left and 3 other products on offer to try just by clicking the download link, after ter thinking to myself but i havent even tried this one yet i thought ill quit and try again, stupidly thats when i noticed the two open options prompting the though hmm thats weird anyway problem solved I open the file and unfortunantly no meta data on a nativly snaped smart phone showing no prior edits of any form, so I ran some tests I like this apps direction… iPhone Gen1, iPone Gen4, iPhone 5s i didnt get the metta data i knew was there then later confirmed by using the standard Mac feature "get info” this app is on a really good path ill be checking back next time im looking to work with meta data seing in the last 20+ years i havent been able to get away from computing in general let alone image processing for Print, Web, News bla bla no need for the toot! Bottom line i still really like this app theres quite a bit more things i picked up on too I really wish you the best debuging it, If you have a friend in advertising or design flick them a sample and get their feedback internally between releases could be handy or Im happy to run a test runing a screen capture video and narate the process of what I encure, how ive reacted and what work around alternatives i try to keep my production moving, its good and its perfect for a high volume commercial environment, im pretty quick with my work so flow is real important, fling us a reply if you like with an email im really sorry i cant use it today hope this helps

Syst Weak

It is noted that the developer is called Systweak weak is the operative word for this PhotoExif Editor app.
It shows so much promise but fails to deliver.
It functions in some areas but sadly it does them poorly.
There seems to be no function to allow individual files in a batch of files to have minor differences of information 'one in all in' is its approach... No good for me Sorry!
