Fulcrum: Video Analysis

Super Jump Pty Ltd

    • Free

Capture and accelerate learning moments during training and performances using a Piston Server. Piston is built for teaching using multi-camera vision to enhance the knowledge transfer process. Create a real impact at the point of best contact.

Piston captures vision from a wide variety of 4K network cameras and supports options for SDI and HDMI. Capture features include custom encoding options, single file and streaming file creation and synchronised multi-camera session capture.

• Multi-Camera

Piston systems are capable of capturing and reviewing up to 16 network cameras simultaneously. In-sync angle switching is a simple swipe. Clips from multiple angles can be cut and downloaded for offline review. Capture sessions can be scheduled ahead of time, so nothing is missed.

• Multipeer MarkUp

Shared markup and annotation data across all users during capture sessions in real time or post-event. Mark up button schemes are distributed from a central source, so mark up data capture is consistent. Supports XML and JSON data export.

• Drawing

Pause, draw and save. Simple to use drawing tools to highlight aspects of the vision. Save as images with the drawings for later viewing or sharing.

• Localizing Streams

The streams being presented in a live session can be localized which copies the stream onto the device, so you can view the content without being connected to any services.

• Streaming Upload

Live streaming export and upload to AWS Simple Storage Service (S3). A cost-effective, reliable and easy way to stream. Supports custom export settings and angle selection.

• Live Opta Import

With a live data subscription, Opta's live data can be imported and synchronised in a capture session.

What’s New

Version 7.3

Version 7.3 Build 435

New Feature

Introducing the Composer:

Piston is taking the next step to becoming your one stop solution for capture and presentation. With the introduction of the Composer, you can now send Cuts from multiple different sessions to an easy to arrange presentation tool. This will become a killer feature for half time and quarter time presentations on a match day, especially if you are capturing and cutting across multiple Piston Sessions per quarter.

Select clips from the Cut Archive or Cuts List to send to a New or Existing Composer or even add the Cut from the Cut Player itself. Then jump directly to the Composer Archive from the Session or Cut Player to view your working Composer. You can also add multiple cuts to multiple different composers.

You can re-arrange the order of the Cuts in your composer to ensure your presentation plays through exactly as you like it, with no more awkward moments as you jump in and out of the Cut Archive looking for that next clip.

All the available angles in the cut will appear in the Cut that appears within your composer, so no need to worry about whether or not you have exported the correct angle.

You can easily navigate through the Composer clips by swiping down and up to jump to next and previous respectively or you can simply tap on your desired cut in the right hand sidebar. You can also select the playback mode: either let the video play through the next clip or have it pause at the end of each clip until you are ready to swipe down to the next one. You can also use all of your favourite keyboard shortcuts if you have a keyboard attached.

Add pre-prepared videos from your camera roll into your Composer to add extra content captured outside of Piston into your presentations.
