Planner 5D can be used without an active subscription with a limited catalog and without an ability to customize furniture. Premium features can be enabled with a Monthly subscription for $9.99 or Yearly subscription for $59.99 (prices vary by region)
Payment for your subscriptions will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off no later than 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Subscriptions and auto-renewal can be managed/turned-off at the iTunes account settings.

Pretty good
This product has dramatically improved over the last year or so. It still has some limitations though...there is a vast variety of furnishings, decor and materials, yet you are very limited with doors and windows, which seems like an odd omission.
The landscaping element of it also pretty average compared to the interior design elements, so it's not a product you would use for that reason.
It would also be great if you could add more than two floors, as this can also be quite limiting if you are creating a basement. Seems like an unusual limit for no real reason (file size maybe?).

5d is ok
The 3d mode didn’t work for me cause the screen turns black and white and really dark so i couldn’t see what i had built and you get very limited furniture unless you pay a monthly fee for the premium version. the top view worked for me and still use it for that purpose.

Seems promising. Does not live up to expectation
This app initially appears to be full featured and easy to use. You cannot do anything worthwhile, even test the features, without upgrading. I found this disingenuous and annoying but I went ahead and clicked upgrade anyway. The app just crashed at that point which may have saved me wasting my money. So thumbs down. I don't mind paying for good software but this one should offer a proper free trial and stabilise the app. I will be deleting it.
