Description

PLUNGE is the world's first digital solution, providing users with real time notifications prior to certain thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing events across Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, UK and the USA. Plunge algorithms have been crafted on the back of years of historical data, with all algorithms continuously optimised via a range of data science, data modelling, AI (artificial intelligence) and machine learning techniques for ongoing enhancement and improvement.

In addition to Plunges (based on those who shorten significantly at key moments of a racing betting journey), the Plunge app also provides Drifters (those who ease significantly in the market), and Early Movers triggered in early markets for bigger race days, such as Saturday across Australia.

Gone are the days you need to be sitting in front of the TV or alongside your local bookie all day long, waiting for the 'smart money' to arrive. Not to mention those frustrating instances when you get home from a hard day's work, only to see winners you 'would have backed' had you been aware at the time.

The Plunge algorithms strive for the optimal balance between POT (Profit on Turnover) and strike rate, with a distinct focus on quality over quantity. i.e. There are market moves in every race that is run, however on average you would typically only expect 2-3 per day for any specific location or race type. Users have the ability to specify what race type, location, day(s) of the week, and alert type to receive. Each of which can be turned off/on as often as you like.

Past results are automatically made available on our website (www.plungeapp.com.au) so feel free to check them out and find out what all the fuss is about.

Plunge is simple and easy to use. It's all about serving you the right information at the right time.

Plunge is the must have utility to add to your punting toolkit in order to gain that competitive edge over the bookies. It’s for punters of all levels, whether you’re a pro who wants to compliment the hours put into form analysis each week, or whether you’re a social punter wanting an easy way to find a winner while enjoying the afternoon at the pub or family function.

Premium functionality also includes an improved 'Bet Now' experience with direct links to many popular betting operators.

Users can select from the following three subscription options:
- weekly subscription for AUD $5.99;
- monthly subscription for AUD $19.99;

Prices are equal to the value that “Apple’s App Store Matrix” determines as the equivalent of the subscription price in $AUD.

Plunge Works

I have used Plunge for about 1.5 years now on a very regular basis. Previous to that I had also used it. I concentrate on the ANZ Thoroughbreds. Changes are made to the algorithms as required. Plunge picks selections based on its criteria being fulfilled. They are selections based on late plunges. So generally the selections race as favourites. The Strike rate for winners was over 50% in 2019 and a strike rate around 50% over my time has been experienced. A P.O.T. of over 14% was achieved in 2019. Not too many investments in recent times achieve that.
The people at Plunge appear to care for their clients.
There is plenty of analysis available if you want to do it. There are options in the settings that can be selected.
Also an automated betting facility can be used. This means you are guaranteed to get all selections that Plunge makes.
A great app that provides fun and money in your bank.

Good returns

Market movers is a great spot to find some longer odds and there are plenty of plunges over the $2 mark. Updates to the algorithms over the last few years seem to have reduced the number of plunges and are delivering more consistent winners. Easy to turn off and in when I feel like it so I can have a rest. Well done team Plunge

Plunge does not work

Contrary to the post that says plunge works, it does not work and i will explain why because people need to be aware of it:
The “algorithm” identifies price movement. Yes and that’s the problem, you can only get in at a very late stage where price has already dropped. It’s nonsense, most prices are $1.80-3 range therefore you would
Need a ~33%-50 to break even and yes you guess right - the strike rate s*cks. Its bad. So whoever trying to get something out of it, save your money.

Also the interface is absolutely terrible. Hard to navigate and just bad overall.
