Plus500: AU & Global Trading 4+

Great app ... but

I enjoyed using this app and online trading on shares has come a long way, but... although I won lots, lost lots, it’s all part of the game which I have no qualms about, there was an area of concern as most I.T. people should be aware of, there’s a glitch in the system with national currency trading, although the date and time goes from 9am Monday to 9am Saturday, I suspect (as I have closely studied) with the time-out zone with other systems such as Natural Gas between 9am and 10am each day where the buttons grey out, at about the same period some flicker grey then black at alternate times which affected my dividends at that period. I witnessed my dividend amount did not change as I saw the percentage increase by over 1.0% which is significant in anyone’s language, and this had no link to overnight to day time trading, other times I have witnessed this on other share systems, a flickering of the buttons and during this time the dividend amount freezes while the percentage changes. All in all enjoy while you can but just be wary and watch out for this issue and make sure you report it or they might not fix it.

Great to learn the stock market in demo mode

Only problem there is they give you $100,000 and when you bankrupt that, they give you another $100,000.
Bankrupted myself 3 times now.

Bit of a rollercoaster ride when you use your own money, but its definitely a learning experience! Don’t expect to invest a tiny amount in bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies and come out on top. They fluctuate so much that you will lose your shares if they go in the wrong direction too far and/or too long.
The more money you put in, the more of the storm you can weather, its fun, but yeah... its pretty much speculative gambling.

If you click on the little information buttons next to words you don’t understand it will help cut through the jargon somewhat, which is handy.

Plus500 has recently changed its business strategy and margins, minimum deposit amounts and a few other things.
Personally I would check out other apps before this one given the changes, but the demo account is still worth it at least.

Those have been my experiences anyways.

At first I thought they could’ve possibly be a scam because of the information and details they asked about me but turned out it was for security purposes so it’s all good. On top of that, they delayed letting me verify after funding my account but they’re definitely legit. Good news is that it’s not a scam and they take a bit of time(a.day or two probably depending on how busy they are) to verify your account before you can use it but their customer service is good and responsive. I just wished their transactions were a bit faster but apart from that, it’s a very good app, pretty straight forward on how to use it and it’s pretty fun. P.S I wasn’t sure which reviews were legit when I was and I was a bit worried that it was a scam but don’t worry this is a legit review, have a nice day everyone and keep up the good work Plus500 :)
