------A WORD FROM THE DEVELOPER
I've always loved pool, and when I got my first iPhone years ago, the world of digital pool games opened up to me.
There are certainly a lot of options out there, but finding a simple and enjoyable single-player pool game was harder than I expected. I found one that I enjoyed, but after playing it extensively I found it too easy to beat the computer every time. Suddenly the problem with pool hit me — when you play against a computer in a physics simulation, you're literally playing against a god... By which I mean, either the computer is going easy on you (for a reason), or it's playing a perfect game and taking all your money.
It dawned on me that if I wanted a good single player pool game, I'd have to make a new kind of pool — a variant that doesn't need a computer opponent, that's built around the notion of scoring and improving, of taking risks, and of presenting unique and interesting challenges.
Pocket-Run Pool is the game I came up with, I hope you enjoy it!

Ratings and Reviews
Why only 4 stars?
I was reluctant to hand over $6 for a ‘full unlock’ for this game. But, it has slowly become a daily habit to play a insta-tournament and beat the score on the weekly break. It is actually the perfect bus / train / ride / commute game.
The two areas where the developer could improve and the reason for 4, not 5 stars are... there is no replay functionality. I often amaze myself how I pull off random trick shots, and if I could share those on social networks I’d be the most popular person, ever.
The other thing is why do we have to give you more money for rebuys? You have my $6, and now you want us to give you Ad revenue as well? The dev is really being greedy, let’s be honest.
Dear dev, if we customers take the time to give honest reviews, please take the time to make honest improvements.
Tell me I’m wrong?
Addictively simple
Ignore all the negative reviews - paying to remove ads is well worth the enjoyment I have had out of this game.
It has the best implementation of online multiplayer I could wish for - one where you never see, interact or know about the other players.
The only downside is the pool cue power mechanism. Flicking up causes the iPhone X to exit the game, and half the time I fail to get any power at all. Suggest that you consider alternative UI for power.
Good but buggy
Edges of app are cropped out on the iPad Air 4.
Other than that the game is awesome!
