Unique and beautiful, Lost in Harmony is a hypnotizing experience that’s part rhythm game, part dreamlike runner. You’ll skateboard toward the screen, outrunning tsunamis, dodging robot cops, and tapping floating icons in time with the beat. Each level is totally distinct—and the mesmerizing soundtrack evolves as the stage changes. Between action sequences, you’ll explore a sentimental story about the characters, lending the dream worlds a deeper meaning.
Exceptional
I’ve never had a game make me cry before, but the culmination of the fantastic music, adrenaline, and sentimental narrative actually had me tear up in the last level. The graphics are great, lively and full of colour and the soundtrack is superb. Interesting concept, combining rhythm the rhythm with gameplay, and it was streamlined perfectly (nothing out of sync with the music, no glitches). Great job team! I’d look forward to anything else you create; especially other audio focussed games. :-)
Don’t mind paying for games but...
With this game I have no idea when / what and who I’m being asked to pay for... you failed the intro level on your first go... pay up, you eventually work out you can retry the level without paying and start to enjoy the game then make it past the first level... pay up to get to the next level!
It’s not the micropayments so much as how they pop up and don’t really explain why and what you’re really paying for, like we’re just supposed to accept throwing infinite money at a game to play it.
I’d happily pay $5-$10 just to play and enjoy this game but as it is it’s unplayable for me and I struggle to see how the App Store editors recommended this unless it’s to get 30% of all the in app purchases!
