Project Planner - Gantt app 4+

This is clearly an underdeveloped application. It has serious usability issues and lots of annoying glitches. For instance, there is no way to select a group of tasks and move them, each one has to be moved individually and this breaks dependencies. There seems to be a major bug where if I have a list of tasks (about 30 or so) and I try to add a new one, they all disappear and I have to close the app and re-open it. I think I am going to ask for my money back.

The lack of any help text is disappointing other than the basic locate menu items. It would be nice to have functionality to relate tasks via some standard scheduling relations like start-to-start, start-to-finish, etc. Graphically there appears to be doing something akin to this but without any help narrative I can not be sure, further the pop-up detail window for a task doesn’t give anything away either in this respect. But perhaps that is all this tool attempts to be is a sequential list of tasks, ‘heel-to-toe’, with limited network logic.

This application is seriously unstable. For example:
1) After adding a resource, it is almost impossible to switch to Gant chart view/task usage without experiencing graphics curruption within the application. When this occurs the only solution is to shut down the applicationand re-start. This issue is reproducible every time.
2) After saving a project. The application does not remeber that it has saved it as you cannot open it using the “Open Recent” menu option.

I am really dissapointed, and I want a refund now.

Don’t make the same mistake that I have made and purchase or even download this program.
