Your favourite radio app now has a new look! We’ve gone to the bathroom to touch up our makeup and come out five minutes later looking a tiny bit more presentable. Say hello to our new app icon and loading screen!

We are all about supporting community radio, that's why this update allows you to donate to your favourite station's donation platform of choice without leaving the app. Support your station on Paypal, Patreon, Ko-Fi and everywhere else - all from the comfort of your favourite radio app. This update also upgrades a lot of small things in the background! Expect a smoother listening experience and quicker load times.

Minor bug fixes to keep the app running as smooth as butter!

This update let’s the station jump into the chat with you. Stations messages are now tagged and distinct from normal messages. Why run a station if you can’t show your superiority in your own chat room? Stability in life, stability in your partner and stability in your favourite radio app - what we all desire in life. This update fixes some small bugs that slipped through while we were locked into the mix.

You asked for it, we delivered - Chrome Casting is now natively supported in Radio Cult. From within the app, you can choose to cast the audio to any AirPlay or Chrome Cast compatible device. Blast that station you love from every device in your house. Did you really find a new song if you didn't tell your friends about it? Fear no more, your reputation as best selector in your friend group is safe. You can now share songs directly from our Shazam integration.

A new year, a new Radio Cult release. We have been working hard to allow you to create accounts on the app. That way you can share your Radio Cult configuration - all your favourite stations and those beautiful UI settings - across all your devices where you use Radio Cult, be that phone, tablet or Mac. This is all free. Creating an account improves the experience and costs you nothing. You don't even have to create an account if you don't want to. We still let you do all the things you could do before. If you are a previous user of the app, don't worry. You can migrate all your settings to your new account with the new update. We are also releasing the Radio Cult Premium tier , our way of allowing you to support the app. The Radio Cult Premium tier gives you access to all the cool new features that going all in has given us time to build. For this release, we focused on our Shazam integration. Integrating with Shazam lets you ID songs in the mix. No more wondering who made that beat, or frantically trying to google song lyrics before the next track comes in. Just press the Shazam button and we will handle identifying the song. You can then open the song in your favourite music app so you can listen again in the future. And as always, we have given the app a lick of paint. Who said your prettiest radio app couldn't get even prettier?

What's more fun than listening to music? That's right! Talking about music! This update brings per-station chat rooms to Radio Cult with a new chat experience. Can't find the words to express how a song makes you feel? Choose a classy Gif instead, with our new Giphy integration! Bored of your phone's emojis? Choose a sticker! The world really is your oyster. But that's not all - we also gave the app a lick of fresh paint. Why not have quality and quantity? Your radio streaming app should look as good as the music sounds.

Radio is where we find new music that we love. But frantically writing down the lyrics to a track so you can google it later is no way to discover new music. Panic google no more. This version of Radio Cult shows the stream meta data coming through from your favourite station. Now you will be able to see what tracks are playing and see this update in real time!

This update shines a light on our favourite stations. Find out something new about them, see what presenters are on and maybe, just maybe, find yourself a new favourite station too. Make sure to lock in to check out all the cool things they are doing. Here at Radio Cult we are all about empowering stations to provide the best experience for their listeners. This update gives stations the ability to update all of their details on Radio Cult without having to release a new version of the app. That means no more downtime. That means more great radio. And that means more listening for the fans. Make sure to lock in and lock on.

Radio Cult is about more than just having your favourite radio station. We also want to make it easy to lock in to your favourite shows and presenters. That's why we have the ability for stations to display their schedules, meaning you never miss another show. However, things change quickly, especially with the current state of the world. Schedules quickly get out of date. And that is why in this release we have moved all schedules and artist information off the app so that we can update them whenever we want.

In this release we give a warm welcome to Mode, coming back to the airwaves after a long hiatus. Also find some small bug fixes and quality of life UI improvements. We often hear that it's too much effort going allll the way to the settings to change the look of the home screen. So now find the toggles available right where you need them, next to the stations themselves.

Ain't no party like a Radio Cult party. We are bringing you this special update to support No Signal's House Party on 08/08 because if you can't go to a real house party then one on radio is just as good, right? The full schedule for the day and all four No Signal channels are on the app to make sure this house party is just as fun and as socially distant as Christmas with your relatives. This update also contains improvements to the full screen player. Enjoy the new smooth swiping experience when you're browsing through stations. When you're in lockdown and no longer find enjoyment from opening the fridge, we hope that compulsively checking what's on radio will bring you almost as much pleasure.

We hate clutter as much as you. To get rid of clutter and help you feel stress free this update brings a streamlined UI for stations with multiple channels. That means NTS, Goat Shed, Radio Kaos and more now have all their channels grouped together. It's not just your next man's uncle that enjoys a seamless radio listening experience so we have given some much needed love to the dock and player screen animations. We hope you enjoy opening and closing the dock as much as we do. Stay locked in and locked on during lockdown. Lockdown doesn't stop radio and it hasn't stopped us.
