Best app ever
This is the best app ever but I really wish I could save songs as drafts to go back and edit at a later date. That is the only thing that needs improving, and I wish you could make the program for the PC so I can use my USB mic :)
Nothing loads, loop feature broken, glitchy app
Recently absolutely nothing has loaded on the Rapchat app. I’ve deleted and reinstalled, to no avail. Completely and utterly dead app at the moment.
Also when the app actually was working fine, the loop feature is broken. It’ll just keep going long after the beat is over, meaning you just need to keep pausing, then winding it back to the start to keep writing.
This interruption in the flow of work builds up over time and makes it frustrating to use.
The audio recording quality is kind of subpar. I have a $500 mic with a pop filter, and on other apps it sounds recording studio good, but on Rapchat the microphone levels are out of wack, and it’s either too quiet or too loud. Also gets buzzy and kind of grainy.
This is a useful app, and I’ve made many songs on it. But a lot of it is just broken or glitchy. And the devs aren’t rolling out adequate fixes for these problems!
Great for starting/beginning
Great app and is a legit step up for beginners but slowly getting tired of it,
A few of my songs didn’t upload properly and have big chunks of legit everything left out of it,
My projects never save properly and once a project I can’t even export my song after I’ve made it:/, you gotta buy the subscription to have almost anything you need to sound better and after 2 years of having the app it’s a disappointment to let it go
