Tasmania’s 10 cent container refund scheme
Recycle Rewards is Tasmania’s new container refund scheme. It’s the rewarding way to recycle your bottles, cans and cartons for 10 cents each. You can receive a digital payment straight to your bank account, track your total amount of refunds, or donate your refunds all through the Recycle Rewards app. It makes returning your drink containers for a refund more convenient and rewarding than ever before.
YOUR MONEY, YOUR RULES
Simply scan your app barcode and start returning eligible drink containers to watch your refunds grow. The app is your Recycle Rewards account, enabling you to choose what you would like to do with your refunds. You can directly transfer your refunds into either your bank account or PayPal, store digital vouchers to redeem for cash or discounted groceries at your nearest participating retailer, or you can donate your refunds to a Donation Partner.

Visit the map to find your nearest refund point. Remember to save your favourite location for quick access every time you want to return your drink containers. Be sure to check the opening hours, live status of the machines and directions before you go.

Check your return history and view the status of all your recycling transactions. Earn badges as you grow from a fledgling to superstar recycler!

With this app you can protect the environment when you recycle. The refunds are all paperless, so it's great for both you and the environment.
