Restful: focus & sleep sounds 12+

The entire landscape of my brain feels like it is being rewritten. After just a few days of listening to the tracks on Restful, I’m watching old patterns, ancient self definitions, falling away. Something deep is shifting, rinsing away, cleansed. A new field is opening.

The tracks are truly delightful; some are peace filled and soothing, others are uplifting and enlivening. I can craft a listening experience for restoration, for focused yet spacious creative work, for joy and dance. All of the music results in a natural slowing of my breathing.

There are deep changes in my sleep pattern. After years of poor sleep I’m falling asleep easily, and mostly staying asleep. And I wake gently, genuinely restored.

Post recent surgery, the pain I was experiencing for ten days afterwards, evaporated. The wound completed its healing. This was, in fact, the reason I reached into the App; to settle and stabilise. With PTSD, that mattered to me.

The interface of the app is elegant and easeful to use, and the choices for brainwaves, time of tracks and mood offer me a rich palette to be creative within what I’m listening to.

When I reached out with a question, I was responded to swiftly, with kindness and thoroughness; the support is there.

As a decades long meditation practitioner and Teacher, this app is a truly restful haven, where I’m experiencing a profound reset, and grounded spacious alive peace.

In essence, Restful isn’t just an app to me. It’s a sanctuary in my pocket. The combination of binaural beats and modern ambient music with Tahlee (Composer)’s angelic voice is simply a phenomenon. The interface is elegantly designed, with a minimalist aesthetic that fosters a sense of serenity from the moment you launch the app. Navigating the various features is intuitive and effortlessly discovering the different relaxation methods(Brain waves). Apart from the function side, I just LOVE her music. My daughter has listened to Meditones (Restful music) as a bedside lullaby every night since she was 4 years old, and she turned 10 years old this year! That tells how much we love this App. As far as I know, Tahlee’s songs are exclusively available on the Restful app. Thanks Tahlee for making this app.

I’ve struggled with insomnia for decades. I have PTSD, ADHD & autism so sleep and meditation have always felt out of reach (even though we all benefit from them!). This one has already helped me sleep and I found it so incredibly soothing.

I’ve tried other binaural beats and meditation apps, but this one actually works for my brain and helps me switch off. The music is really soothing and allows me to sink into the other sounds.

I also love that the subscription is really affordable - definitely good value, particularly compared to other sleep/meditation apps which seem to particularly target vulnerable users.
