Rise of Cultures: Kingdom game 9+

I’ve been playing this game for a couple years now and the fresh changes and updates always keep me interested, the new building designs and leaders throughout history are always fun to see, I do wish there was a bit more historical knowledge on the various leaders we challenge throughout our journey. I think some people would get a kick out of learning some of the historical tidbits about the great leaders.
I’m definitely invested into this game and am keen to see new challenges, leaders and some of histories lesser known civilisations be represented, maybe time for a Polynesian civilisation/culture to be represented, there are some fascinating Polynesian gods and leaders through their history.
Love this game, definitely in for the long run.

Although on the surface it may look like yet another city builder RoC really brings a unique take on the genre and provides real satisfaction and a genuine sense of progression. Working your way through the research tree and progressing through the ages is fun and engaging, and conquering more territories adds a story element. I like that there is no PvP (that I have encountered) as this reduces P2W and the usual frustrations this brings, and means it’s not the end of the world if you can’t log on every 30 mins. It could improve however, by enhancing the communication between players and alliances. It would feel a lot more of a community with a global chat, friends list, ability to scroll through alliances and their members, etc. Currently, finding a good alliance is tough and starting your own even tougher, so an ability to communicate to others outside of the very basic alliance chat would be a real boost. Beyond that I look forward to seeing where the devs go with this.

Edit: although good, there isn’t an awful lot to keep you coming back to this game. The lack of meaningful player interaction means competition is lacking and there isn’t really all that much to do except build, which soon becomes pretty dull without story elements or added features. Ok game, but limited.

The game is highly addictive and I love the competitive aspect of the treasure hunt really encouraging alliance members to work together as a team. The events are great with some excellent rewards to be gained.

The one thing I would like to see is jobs for single workers to do. I am 97% through the Byzantine era and all of my buildings are fully upgraded so Often I have one or 2 spare workers sitting idle - would love it if there was something for them to do. Whether it be smaller farming jobs or perhaps food scavenging or gold mining expeditions outside of the main city. It would also be wonderful if gold could be used to buy items such as food, Egyptian/Chinese/Mayan resources and even building blueprints from other players. Even if only within your alliance. Like an alliance marketplace or something similar. Unlike most other people who have commented here I have found myself with an excess of food and not enough gold - it would be amazing if some sort of trade system could be set up to help Out with this. Otherwise this is a great game. Keep up the good work
