Description
Road to Legend is a companion app for the Descent: Journeys in the Dark 2nd edition board game. When you play with Road to Legend, the app assumes the role of the overlord player, controlling monsters and inviting you to explore the dungeon in entirely new and unexpected ways.
At its heart, Road to Legend introduces a fully-formed, cooperative way to play Descent, freeing you and your friends to all play as heroes and defeat the darkness in Terrinoth. With a series of fully-formed quests and the ability to incorporate your entire collection of physical Descent expansions, Road to Legend provides a thrilling new variant on the classic Descent experience!

Brilliant
Love this app. Finally able to pull this great game out of the box and play it again without the need of expansions to remove the overlord. I really enjoy playing games solo when friends and family are busy and this app is perfect for playing multiple characters solo. If you have played any of the solo variants you will be well prepared to play using this app as strategy is almost identical but instead of only using the components for a specific expansion, this app adds all your expansions into your campaign. Highly recommended.
Co-op & coordination rpg!
TL/DR: Wow, fun! needs team-work coordination and thoughtful use of the tile terrain for success.
Automate the Overlord freeing up a person to play a party role for true co-op. It integrates your game box parts with a virtual layout on your tablet, that you then mimic in the play space. The adventures produced are on par with the scenarios in the core product etc. It expects a very tactical execution of your goals. Use of canny positioning is a must.As is coordinating the party as a whole. The result is a great highly tactical adventure game.
Too difficult
Too difficult to play with 4 players. Re-spawn rate of monsters is ridiculous. Takes any enjoyment away. Even a side mission has ended up using almost every monster group available. And this is being played on normal. I can't imagine hard, considering it is mostly a game of luck and strategy and not necessarily skill.
