Roomster is a very easy to use app. Not complicated at all. Once downloaded, you tell us what you are looking for and we provide you access to an every growing list of spare rooms and Flatmates. There are 4 steps and that's it.
1. Create an account using your phone number
2. Validate your account.
3. Tell us what you are looking for.
4. Send messages to people you think would be good to live with.
Any Questions? We have 24/7 customer service on the app with a chat feature provided by Intercom. There is always a live person available, when times are busy a representative will get back to you at the earliest chance.
In many ways Roomster is like dating for Flatmates, and much like those apps, Roomster is a freemium service and we charge for communication between users. Your iTunes account will be charged at confirmation of your purchase and will automatically renew for the same price and duration period as the original package. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings on the device. If you haven’t subscribed via iTunes, you can manage your subscription through Roomster.
Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal

Exclusive new Features: To further enhance security, certain features are now exclusively available to users who complete ID check & address check. We believe that users who are unable to complete & pass ID check & address check should not be on the platform. This is the first live version of this new initiative. We will continue to expand & adjust the rules & this new on platform integration in the upcoming days.
General Security Updates: We’ve also made under-the-hood improvements to strengthen the app’s security infrastructure, protecting your data and ensuring a safer experience.

So Annoying.
Hahahaha so I see a lot of the reviews are definitely paid for, none the less the app works we'll gets you to put in all your information the even let's you send a message to people . . . To view the replies you have to pay a weekly subscription. Annoying. Anyway apart from that 2 things you should change anyway, the map, allow people to zoom and move the map around, verification shouldn't require a social media verification.

Avoid this app - FAKE AND SCAMS - copies all your info - in fact, everything that is bad is covered - MOSTLY Fake listings, scammers posing as Landlords but really are tenants who are moving soon - a manipulator will talk fast and act like or even have family or friends pose as other potential tenants whom you could lose the place to!
This App is known for repeat charges, overcharging, privacy violations and more!

Disappointed in a rip off.
I’m sorry but paying $17 a week just to access messages is absolutely ridiculous! I had an account for all of 6 hours and I’ve deleted the account and app.
