Rugby Nations 22 12+

The game feel is really great with and the speed is great the teams you play against in the World Cup have the same playing style in real life which is why I’m in shock. The speed is really great but only downside is the field fills too crammed for how fast they are which leads to a little too much glitches but’s it’s overall really great so far all there is to fault is line out and scrums are really weird to get used. I love this game so far and I can see potential

Game has terrible bugs which makes it unplayable, often your own players will pass it directly behind themselves and then your players will run away from the ball causing the other team to pick it up and score. You’ll be running down the wing, get tackled and slide 15m
Into touch. The camera angle for wide goal kicking is atrocious you can barely ever kick any goals from out wide because of it. Players purposely dropping the ball after the 80 minutes is ridiculous. Teams who weigh 100kg less pushing your team back in a scrum when you’re green timing every push. Playing a team with a worse rating but every time you tackle them they instantly win the ruck and you physically cannot get the ball even after making dominant tackles unless they throw intercepts or forward passes. AI teams kicking off with 15kmph winds behind them and landing it on the 10m and regaining possession. Opposing team scrum half running through your entire team to score even if the other team has a worse rating. Like it’s basic stuff that makes the game frustrating and unplayable. And I forgot to mention the throwing the ball deliberately into touch penalty is ridiculous, sometimes you pass to a guy 2m away from you, it goes literally through them into touch and you get penalised for throwing it into touch on purpose. It’s literally just the most basic stuff that makes this game so horrible and un enjoyable to play. Unless it’s fixed I wouldn’t recommend playing it.

This is probably the best rugby game on the App Store (albeit with limited competition). It’s fun and engaging but there are a few things to be fixed or additions that could massively improve this game.

There is no button to put the ball down for a try, meaning there are often times where you would normally dive for the line but instead your players just jog over and can be pushed back or into touch by the opposition - very frustrating.

The positioning of the players is rarely realistic - the 10 or wings regularly playing scrum half at the breakdown, and forwards standing out in the back line for some reason, which affects any planned moves and removes structure from your game plan.

The games are short and sharp which is fine but it would be great to add an option to extend them for a more immersive experience.

Adding more structure to obtaining players would be great - like transfers for cash (which otherwise you don’t do much with). Crafting a strong team can be tough when it’s always luck of the draw.

Adding gameplay elements like set backs moves would add much more realism - just passing through the hands can get a bit boring.
