Play the RYA Volvo Sail for Gold Game to test your virtual racing skills and gain an understanding into world-class sailing from the comfort of your living room.
Online sailors are challenged to master the art of one of Britain's most successful Olympic sports using touchscreen gestures to gybe, tack and sail around a championship course, in the fastest time, whilst collecting bonus stars to increase their scores.
Don’t forget to leave your score on the online leader-board to see if you have what it takes to be crowned the ‘Sail for Gold Game’ Champion.

Great fun and reasonable variations.
The option of a "Course to be sailed" button giving the player the chance to see a plan view of the course marks prior to starting would be a useful addition. Down wind legs could also have a launch spinnaker option for those boat designs that could have flying sails.
Really Good , Needs More
More options of boats and locations. Need to add a multiplayer that would be really fun
Not even a good arcade game for kids
If you're looking for a real tactical simulator, this is not it.
This might be an OK kids game if the boats were steerable and the camera angle didn't swing all over the place for no apparent reason. Races are too short and action is excessively accelerated.
If you're looking for a decent tactical racing simulation, THIS IS NOT IT.
Also very annoying that it takes 5 tries to post this review, app says user name is already used then deletes entire review.
