Scoopon - "chance to try things"

What a great concept !! Scoopons -

Thankyou Scoopons and Many thanks to the businesses that advertise their wares on the site !!
With the great deals - we can not speak highly enough how our lifestyle has improved.
The prices on some deals are incredible.

Those on limited budgets and limited funds, can now enjoy a better life- and we have and are continuing too .

Family haircuts are now more frequent .
Quality health food outings - and no not take away- are generously discounted and offered by businesses. Cheap Adventures/ activities / outings - for the kids - and with a added home made picnic or a cheap meal Scoopon - the day is full on and cheap !!!

Thanks Again Scoopons and a bigger Thankyou to the Businesses that participate - your helping people/ community / that would not be able to enjoy such luxury prior to Scoopons existence .

Highly advise anyone reading this ---Get a better quality of life and lifestyle!!

Scoopon’s not very keen on updates

The claim of “Australia’s favourite daily deals site” is a bit of a mouthful and something that I’d like to see independently backed up. Otherwise ACCC might consider it misleading advertising.

The last update prior to the most recent one is almost 1 year ago. It doesn’t seem Scoopon was really keen to deliver the best value over the last year. I barely knew I still had this app on my phone. I certainly haven’t used it in a long time (2-3 years at least).

Unlike other group buying sites, Scoopon forces you to register and sign in before you can even look if the offers are suitable for you.

The app only allows a bare minimum to filter the results by rough categories (“Dining”, “Wellness”, “Holidays”) and cities. That’s a big let down. How are you supposed to find something? Are they seriously expecting their users to trawl through an endless list?

Please do your market research first.

And don’t get me started on the Scoopon Credits Screen an the changing layout…

I give this app 2 stars as there’s some value in it, but it’s not much.

P.S.: Thanks for your non-committing standard reply. I can’t wait to see the improvements after my feedback has been forwarded on to the “relevant departments”.

Good app but..

This app is amazing but there is one downfall you can’t save a deal so you have to scroll all the way to find it again. It would help if we could press a heart button or something and it would save to a Scoopon library in the app where we can easily access the deals we want to come back to and you should have a search bar so it is easier to find a deal you want please read this and take it into consideration thanks
