Developers stopped caring
Features still advertised are no longer a function of the apps. Cannot set zones for areas I need to be notified about. All it does is record everything in the entire frame, creating a ridiculous amount of videos each day and making it difficult to see what’s valuable.
Spoke to the developers about it and looks like it was a feature removed and no updates to the app in years, no signs the company had any interest in updating or maintaining software.
Waste of money since the product was great and now no longer works as advertised.
Forgotten about
No updates in 3 years. Camera history is now only 24 hours when it used to be 7 days. Some weird glitch now when I got to full screen where half the screen is blank white. It used to be great but now we’ve been forgotten about so I would buy a different camera setup where the developers still maintain and update the firmware
No date/ Time stamp on downloaded events to your phone
Pro: Continuous recording as-well as event Notifications, Can be installed into an existing screw in light Barton at front door etc.
Cons: Needed to download footage of an event, once downloaded the event had the date and time that I downloaded/ saved the file but not the date and time of when a specific event happened. This is a major flaw.
Also when you view the event on the snap app, when put in full screen mode the date changed on the event to the date I was viewing not when the event happened. Footage is only available for 7 days on the cloud.
Can only download 5 minutes at a time.
The problem with recordings not showing date and time when you download has meant that I have had to look into another system as if something happens you can’t download and show the footage to others such as the police with the correct timestamp.
