Description

Sequence is the ultimate tool for time lapse photographers. Painlessly assemble time lapse movies from your photos, deflicker and adjust the white balance using keyframes.

Using Sequence you can easily put together a timelapse movie from your photos and preview it with a familiar timeline interface. Export to a number of industry-standard video formats including H.264 and Apple ProRes or right back out as resized JPG, TIFF or PNG images.

Sequence comes with a powerful deflickering engine engine that will analyze your photos and select the optimal brightness correction for each image. It even renders a graph of both the original and the deflickered values so you can see how smooth and flicker-free it'll make your time lapse.

You can also adjust the white balance using keyframes, so you can add a warm feeling to your time lapse that slowly ramps up over time or any other kind of temperature and tint adjustment.

- White balance adjustments using keyframes
- Deflicker
- Export as video encoded as H.264, uncompressed and Apple ProRes in any size and frame rate

Can only handle small projects

Sequence seems to work ok if you have less than about 3,000 frames, but is completely incapable of handling anything larger. If you want time lapse sequences that run for more than 30 seconds, then this will not work for you.

I tried to load a sequence of 7,000+ frames shot on a 5D. It was only able to load 2,800. I tried resizing the images, but it was still only able to load about 3,000. Next thing I tried was processing the sequence in batches, but it is unbelievably slow even when dealing with 3,000 frame chunks and playback for review is incredibly jerky.

This product is not worth the money they are asking.

Unreliable - Huge Potential

Very dissapointing to have this app go downhill, was working about 4 months ago, but then after each update it is spitting errors and hanging on exports.

Very random errors with even the most low-res photos. Occasionally you can get it to work exporting under 1000 low res images - but thats never a guarantee.

I would give this 4.5 / 5 if it did what it was doing from the beginning. This should really be taken away from the app store until a stable realse can be made.

Fantastic!!!

I've been looking for an app like Sequence for a liitle while now and am so glad I found it. It's really easy to use just drag a folder of images onto the window as the app opens wait for them to load, for a set of 145 images it took less than 5seconds and you're ready to preview. Exporting/rendering the finished movie is just as quick and the quality of the final movie is amazing, no flicker between images what-so-ever. All in all it took me about 5 minutes from dragging in the folder of images to viewing the finished movie. Can't wait to see how Sequence evolves or what other apps the developer comes up with. This is one of the best apps I've ever bought here on the App Store.
